IOM supports the development of coordination structures for improved emergency management at local, national and international levels. Awareness, experience sharing and coordination workshops and programmes may include:
- emergency management and migrant assistance assistance actors in migrants' host countries;
- emergency management actors of migrants' host countries and foreign posts of migrants' home countries;
- foreign services of different countries sending migrants to common destinations.
