Ethiopia: Preparing for Assisting Migrants During Crises
Ethiopian government officials continue to build their capacity to respond to large migrant flows and assist migrants during a crisis. IOM trained 22 staff of the National Disaster Risk Management Commission (NDRMC) and the Ministries of Immigration, Labour and Social Affairs, Ministry of Women, Children and Youth and Ministry of Health. The training utilized IOM’s proven Migrants in Countries in Crisis framework and training methodologies.
The training was provided under the IOM-PRM Africa Regional Migration Program.
