The MICIC Initiative has come to a close in 2016, with the publication of the Guidelines to Protect Migrants in Countries Experiencing Conflict or Natural Disaster – a comprehensive set of recommendations to better account for migrants in all emergency preparedness, response and recovery efforts. The MICIC Initiative also gathered a wide range of existing practices that experienced stakeholders shared through consultations, other events, and submissions. IOM’s current and future MICIC-related activities are building on the reference framework of the Guidelines and on a comprehensive set of capacity-building and coordination tools targeting governmental and non-governmental counterparts.
Below are resources produced by the MICIC Initiative, including the Guidelines and Practices, MICIC E-learning and In-Person Trainings, Manuals and the Toolkit for Implementation.
